Article of Faith 13 encourages us to seek after things that are “virtuous, lovely, of good report, or praiseworthy.” This article of faith provides a clear framework for evaluating both what we create and what we choose to consume. It invites intentionality rather than passive acceptance.

When creating content, this principle challenges us to consider the impact of our work. Are we contributing something honest, uplifting, or meaningful? Even in professional or commercial settings, ethical standards and positive intent matter. Creativity does not exist in isolation; it influences how others think and feel.

When consuming content, this article of faith encourages discernment. Not everything available to us deserves our attention or time. Using this principle as a guide helps us make choices that align with our values and support our emotional, spiritual, and professional growth.
